Amer is an optimistic, enterprising, hardworking and visionary business executive who switched career from banking to air cargo industry. Mainly tasked to drive growth and profitability at SAL , he is well known for developing innovative market strategies, keeping good relations with customers and nurturing enterprise-wide business development opportunities. His business career began more than 26 years ago in the banking industry. In 2009, he moved to Saudia Cargo as sales director. Spurring sales growth, he rapidly rose to top positions, including as Regional Director for Europe and Global Executive Director, Commercial. Amer is an economics graduate at Yarmouk University in Jordan.
Mohammed is a results-oriented leader with extensive experience across the aviation and logistics sectors. Prior to joining SAL, he held senior positions at FedEx, Abdul Latif Jameel, and Saudia Cargo, where he built a reputation for driving growth, customer innovation, and operational excellence.
At SAL, Mohammed advanced through leadership roles including Vice President of Cargo Handling Commercial. In these positions. Today, as President of Ground Handling, Mohammed oversees operations across more than 19 airports in the Kingdom.
Mohammed holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Supply Chain Operations Management from Concordia University in Montreal.
Mr. Rayan Albakri is the President of SAL Logistics and the company’s Official Spokesperson, bringing a strong track record in strategic transformational leadership and business growth. Throughout his career, he has held several senior leadership roles across both the public and private sectors, including Deputy Minister for Logistics Services at the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, Adviser to the President at the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani), and executive positions at LogiPoint, Tabadul, and the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority. He has led major national transformation initiatives that strengthened the Kingdom’s logistics ecosystem, championed digital innovation, and enabled public-private partnerships.
As Official Spokesperson, Mr. Rayan Albakri leads communication on operational performance, capacity and infrastructure development, business growth, and service innovation. In this role, he supports the advancement of SAL’s integrated logistics services and solutions while reinforcing the company’s commitment to operational excellence. His leadership further strengthens SAL’s position as a national logistics leader contributing to the Kingdom’s ambitions and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Haydar brings over 20 years of extensive experience, primarily focused on the logistics industry. His background also boasts a strong foundation in financial leadership and strategic management. Previously served in CFO roles in Turkey and Denmark working for the largest logistics companies in the world. Haydar holds an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. This combination of academic excellence and extensive industry experience positions him perfectly to drive SAL's financial strategy and ensure continued success.
Saleh Al Daini, Chief Human Capital Officer, brings extensive experience from key positions at Abdullatif Jameel and Saudia Cargo. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in business management from King Abdulaziz University and a master’s degree from the Manchester Business College in the UK, Saleh is instrumental in driving Human Capital Excellence at SAL.
Simon is a highly experienced executive with a track record in Digital, Technology and IT. In leadership and consulting positions he led the digitization practices of fortune 500 companies. Previously, he served in CDO roles for multi-national enterprises in UAE and in Germany and has founded start-ups utilizing AI and Blockchain technologies. Besides his academic degrees of Ph.D. in Innovation Management and Information Science in Germany, he has completed additional executive programs at the University of California Berkeley and the INSEAD Business School.
Mr. Mustafa Makda brings over 15 years of leadership in Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance, with profound expertise in aviation and logistics. He leads SAL’s GRC frameworks, Quality Assurance, Cybersecurity Governance and ESG in alignment with global and local regulations & standards. Previously, he led internal audit functions at SAL and Saudia Cargo, supporting strategic transformation and IPO. He holds an MBA and professional qualifications including CMIIA, CISA, CFE, and CRISC.
Dr. Ahmed Yahya, SAL's Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, is a legal expert with a distinguished career at JODC and Barwa. Holding a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from King Abdulaziz University and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Trade Law from the University of Wales, UK, Dr. Yahya contributes valuable insights to SAL's corporate affairs.
Mr. Siraj Nazer is a strategy and transformation leader with over eighteen years of experience driving business growth, operational excellence, and large-scale transformation across both the public and private sectors. He joined SAL Logistics Services in October 2025 as Vice President of Corporate Business Development and was appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer of SAL Zones in March 2026, where he leads the development of SAL's logistics and industrial zones in support of Saudi Arabia's ambition to become a global logistics hub.
Prior to joining SAL, he held senior leadership roles at THIQAH Business Services from 2021 to 2024 and Saudi Airlines Catering Company from 2018 to 2021, where he led strategic growth initiatives, commercial development, and major transformation programs. Through his leadership, Siraj has consistently driven impactful growth and innovation, strengthened organizations and contributed to the Kingdom's evolving logistics and business ecosystem.
